Every week someone asks me, “so what are you seeing out there?” Why do they ask me this? Because they want to know what’s going on in the local manufacturing industry, what they should expect in the coming year and if they are alone in what they are seeing.
Well, since I don't have a crystal ball, we'll have to use another method to look ahead. One of the best ways I know to do this is... that's right... a survey.
I've found that collecting and sharing input from many smart people in the industry can provide great wisdom and insight that can help us and our fellow business associates as we look to the future. Not to mention it can also be shared with our lawmakers so they know what we are thinking and what we're concerned about.
So, I'd like to urge you to participate in MadeInDaytonBlog's 2013 Dayton-Region Manufacturing Outlook Survey. It’s really simple and will only take you about 4 minutes to complete.
Who should participate? Business owners and senior managers from manufacturing companies in the 14-county Dayton, Ohio region (Please only one entry per company). And don't worry about privacy; no company-specific information will be published or shared with others (I promise!).
