MadeInDaytonBLOG was launched on December 1, 2011 by Steve Staub and Gary Weldon of Staub Manufacturing Solutions located in Dayton Ohio.
Let’s first talk briefly about what MadeInDaytonBLOG.com is (and isn't). It isn't a political party, an association, a government funded group or a Chamber of Commerce. Those things already exist and they are great at what they do. Why should we re-invent the wheel? Instead we are a grassroots movement started to promote the industry and fill in some gaps in services offered by other groups by people that are passionate about our region and about the manufacturing industry.
By following MadeInDaytonBLOG.com you can benefit from:
> Articles and opinion on what’s happening in our region and our industry.
> Advice from experts on topics that you find interesting and helpful.
> Local and national news affecting our industry.
> Tools to help you become a better business person.
> Learning more about past visionaries and some of their great products.
> An open dialogue where you can share your opinion and comments.
> Interviews with local experts on topics that you care about.
> Learn about all upcoming events in our industry in one location.
By joining the new Made in Dayton LinkedIn group, you can not only benefit from all of the items above but also from:
> Posting your open job positions for free under that JOBS tab.
> Promoting your company for free under the PROMOTIONS tab.
> Promoting the industry when you Like, Comment on or Share an article so your entire LinkedIn network can see.
> Sharing your opinion on the industry, politics, regulations, or whatever you want to talk about!
WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN THE CAUSE!
It's simple: Actively participate and share your opinion. Send us your articles and let the Region know what you think is best for our industry. Nominate people for the Hall of Fame that have helped change the world for the better. Support the movement by telling your friends and co-workers to follow this new group and MadeInDaytonBLOG.com and ask them to participate.
Working together as engaged citizens we can continue to grow our industry and the Dayton Region.
We not only want to celebrate the rich manufacturing history of the Dayton, Ohio area but also encourage and empower present day Dayton area manufacturers.
